When Kids Teach….To Be Social Justice Warrior!

I have said before that I draw plenty of energy from the lessons kids teach. That includes my son. I don’t think I am unique to lay platitudes onto my son. That’s what parents [should] do! Although I have more compelling reasons to celebrate my son; his deeds and words never cease to amaze me! …

Welcome to the Business of When Kids Teach!

“When Kids Teach!” is not a cliche! It is a summation of my perspective on children. Kids are expert teachers when given the platform and trust. About Me

Where do I start?

Born in the beautiful “Pearl of Africa,” Uganda, in East Africa. Now I also call the United States of America, my home. Traveled to every continent beside Antarctica. Lived and studied in three continents. Still hope to make it to Fiji, Tuvalu and the Arctic #bucketlist

I am a lobalist! Very attuned to diversity of cultures, beliefs, customs, abilities, languages, and ways of life. I am a strong advocate for the right to self-determination. Preoccupied with intellectualism, service, indigenous and traditional knowledge and beliefs.

Earliest recollection of my personal journey started on the playground, learning from and with kids my age. I became a teacher, an international advocate for human rights, refugee protection, humanitarian assistance, and higher education. The greatest life lessons have come from my education, traveling, adventure and service-in-action. Then I became a mother!

Hence, my strong respect for children as intellectual geniuses, teachers, learners and content creators. Joining me in discovering more, When Kids Teach!
